Meet the Artists

Mystwood Gallery is the creative home of husband-and-wife artists John Arthur and Terry Lynn. They opened the family-owned gallery in 2018 with a shared dream of creating a shop that feels like stepping into a fairytale.

John Arthur

John began drawing and painting as a child in his father’s studio and has worked as a professional artist and illustrator for more than thirty years. His art spans romantic fantasy, storybook illustration, western scenes, fly-fishing art, and children’s portraits. His paintings and illustrations have appeared on books, magazines, and periodicals, and his clients have included Disney, Warner Bros., Leanin’ Tree, and Carlton Greetings.

John has also taught art classes from his studio for more than twenty years and has instructed Master Art Seminars. Across every subject and medium, his work is shaped by imagination, nature, narrative, and a distinctly human hand.

Terry Lynn

Terry Lynn is a local jewelry artist who creates one-of-a-kind handmade pieces from rare stones, found treasures, unusual trinkets, and carefully chosen details. She began making jewelry as a small hobby and creating gifts for family and friends. As interest grew, people from across Southern California began seeking out her distinctive work.

Each piece is designed and assembled individually rather than mass produced. Terry also creates custom jewelry for customers looking for something personal and truly unique.
